We Launched a YouTube Channel! (Plus: DIY Antifreeze Rigs & Pump Repairs)
At Odyssea Jet and Prop Shop, we know that half the fun of owning a PWC is working on it yourself (and saving a little money in the process!).
That is why we are excited to announce the launch of the Official Odyssea Jet and Prop Shop YouTube Channel.
We are taking the experience from our shop floor in Ocean Pines, MD, and bringing it directly to your garage. Whether you need to winterize your ski, fix a broken latch, or diagnose a weird engine noise, we are building a video library just for you.
Here are 3 videos you should watch right now to get started:
1. Build Your Own Antifreeze Flush Rig (DIY)
Stop using gravity funnels and making a mess! In this video, we show you how to build a professional-grade flush kit for cheap using a simple 5-gallon bucket and a bilge pump.
This is the best (and easiest) way to force antifreeze through your cooling system to protect your engine block from freezing this winter.
2. The Dreaded "Broken Glovebox Clip" Fix
Did your Sea-Doo glovebox latch snap off? It happens all the time. Before you go buy a whole new lid (which is expensive!), watch this video.
We show you how to swap just the clip in under 5 minutes—and exactly what to check to make sure the lid itself isn't broken.
3. Inside a Jet Pump Inspection
Is your ski vibrating or cavitating (revving high but not moving)? We take you inside a jet pump to show you exactly what a damaged wear ring and impeller look like.
(Note: If this looks too complicated for you, remember we offer a Nationwide Mail-In Jet Pump Repair Service! You ship it, we rebuild it.)
